We’re excited to read The Wrong End of the Telescope by Rabih Alameddine. The novel tells the stories of two women whose paths intertwine at the Moria refugee camp in Lesbos, Greece: Mina, a Lebanese doctor. and Sumaiya, a Syrian matriarch with terminal liver cancer. The novel is a bedazzling tapestry of both tragic and amusing portraits of indomitable spirits facing a humanitarian crisis.
We’ve joined forces with Libbie Mill Library, which is also reading this book for their book club, creating a wonderful opportunity to bring even more voices into the conversation!
