We are no longer accepting donations on this campaign, but there are other ways for you to support us today!
The Maker group is a client driven collective of women who are interested in more advanced sewing skills and/or making and selling their own handmade items.
The Makers Shop creates a space to bridge the skills learned from our sewing courses into independent skill growth. The Maker group focuses on product design, economics related to making and selling handmade items, and advanced sewing skills. It is a collaborative group environment tailored to the groups’ interest.
All products are designed and created by Makers who have graduated from ReEstablish Richmond’s Heela Sewing Course. In alignment with our value of authenticity, the purchase of each product goes directly to the Maker.
The Heela program and the Makers Shop are made possible by the generosity of our community. If you are interested in further supporting the program to build the sewing and entrepreneurship skills of future Makers, or to help cover the cost of materials and packaging for the online shop products, please consider makeing a donation in addition to purchasing an item.
Please note that this donation is a separate transaction from any purchase you make on the online shop.
