We are so proud of the meaningful impact ReEstablish Richmond has made in the Richmond community - and we need your support!
Over the last decade, ReEstablish Richmond has served as a stabilizing force
in the local landscape of support for newcomers, building trusted
relationships with our client communities, partners, volunteers, and
donors.
Since 2013, we have worked to break down barriers that newcomers face and connect them to resources needed to learn, work, and build a new life in Richmond. Our programs continue to focus on our clients' most pressing goals: learning English, becoming transportation independent, finding employment, becoming digitally and financially literate, and increasing health and wellness.
Due to ongoing conflicts in Afghanistan, Ukraine, Sudan, and many other areas, refugee and immigrant communities are one of the fasting growing populations in Richmond, with a more than 700% increase in refugee arrivals since 2021.
Combined with a doubling of client referrals as well as the ending of special funding streams related to COVID-19 and the Afghan Evacuation, we urgently need your help to sustain this work into the next 10 years.
