Refugees + Immigrants Bring Creative Energy, Determination, and Experience to our Community
Help us raise $100,000 by World Refugee Day (June 20th), to support the educational goals of newcomers in our community.
In 2023 we restructured our Client Engagement programming to align with the two pathways of support that clients experience:
- Newcomer Navigation (1:1 support) and
- Newcomer Education (in-person groups)
Shifting our internal structure to highlight the way clients participate in our services has both sharpened our focus and expanded opportunities to collaborate with community partners. What hasn’t changed? Our mission, vision, values, and the work itself: connecting newcomers to the life-building tools and resources they want and need.
Last year we saw how connecting our clients to EDUCATIONAL opportunities transformed their integration experience and contributed to their sense of belonging.
In order to continue to offer these critical pathways of support in the coming year, ReEstablish Richmond needs to raise $100,000 by World Refugee Day (June 20th).
Your donation today will support newcomers' EDUCATIONAL goals through:
- Scholarships for behind the wheel lessons so newcomers can become safe, confident drivers.
- Family literacy English classes so parents and their children can start their English education with the guidance of qualified instructors.
- Employment navigation support so job seekers can learn the skills to look for a job on their own.
- Credential Evaluation so professionals can get a start on continuing their career in the United States.
Every gift will directly contribute to the EDUCATIONAL goals of newcomers in our community, ensuring they have access to life-changing opportunities such as driving lessons, English classes, and career support.
